Amoxicillin Trihydrate BP
Composition : : Amoxycillin BP 250mg, 500mg Capsule.
Indication : Urinary tract infections : nephritis, pyelonephritis, pyelitis, cystitis, gonorrhoea and non-gonococcal urethritis. Skin and soft tissue infections : cellulitis, wounds, carbuncles and furunculosis. Gastro-intestinal infections : enteric fever, ear, nose and throat infections, meningitis.
Dosage and administration :
Oral : Standard adult dosage : 250mg three times daily, increasing to 500mg three times daily for more severe infections. Children (2 to 10 years) : 125mg three times daily, increasing to 250mg three times daily for more severe infection. Infants (Up to 2 years) : 62.5 - 125mg three times daily or as directed by the physician. In case of severity the dosage may safely be increased. Food does not interfere with absorption of Demoxil.
Use in pregnancy and lactation : Amoxycillin has been assigned to pregnancy category B by the FDA

Demoxil 250mg Capsule : 5x10 capsules in blister pack.
Demoxil 500mg Capsule : 3x10 capsules in blister pack.
