Valsartan USP + Hydrochlorothiazide USP
Composition : Cardival Plus 80 : Valsartan USP 80mg +
Hydrochlorothiazide USP 12.5mg Tablet.
Cardival Plus : Valsartan USP 160 mg + Hydrochlorothiazide USP 12.5mg Tablet.
Indication : It is indicated for the treatment of hypertension & myocardial infraction with left ventricular failure.
Dosage and administration : A patient whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled with valsartan monotherapy may add hydrochlorothiazide by switching to Cardival Plus (Valsartan 80mg / hydrochlorothiazide 12.5mg or Valsartan 160mg/hydrochlorothiazide 12.5mg) once daily. The clinical response to Cardival Plus should be subsequently evaluated and if blood pressure remains uncontrolled after 3-4 weeks of therapy, the dose may be titrated up to valsartan 160mg/hydrochlorothiazide 25mg. Or, as directed by the registered physician.
